The quantum creativity theme for March is “be who you came here to be.”
During my reflections on “embrace your villain era” throughout the month of February I started thinking about how once you have released control around what people think of you, then you get to really soften and live.
Our ICONIC LUMINARY for March is ANNE SHIRLEY from the Anne of Green Gables series. Like Lucifer, Anne is also beacon to outsiders, weirdos, freaks, artists, dreamers
…but she shows us how to integrate our weirdness, soften our edges, dissolve our armour, and open our hearts.
The cards I pulled for the theme of the month are: Starseed (aka “The Fool”, from The Starchild Akashic Tarot) and “The Void” (The Starseed Oracle.)
The fall from grace is a crucial point in this journey of authentic self expression. The fall is crucial point because we have to reach a point where we are no longer craving the approval of others more than we crave our own self satisfaction.
But we don't want to get stuck in the fall, or identify with the fall so much that it becomes a part of what colors our interactions with everyone.
If we we do, we will start to walk through the world defensively, assuming: “No one will understand me, no one will get me.”
Because then we build up walls around our hearts and walls around ourselves—we become closed-off and self-protective.
We protect ourselves against the projections of others. We protect ourselves against misunderstanding.
We go around the world with armour on—and in doing so, we also hide ourselves.
So what I really like about moving into this “starseed” energy for March is that we are invited to become openhearted—even when people don’t “get” us.
And we have to move through that Lucifer Morningstar energy—that feeling of being rejected and cast out—so that we can emerge starry-eyed and undefended.
Anne Shirley is a romantic, relentless dreamer.
She sees the world through a veil of stars and roses. Despite her love-starved childhood, she moves through life with unshakeable hope—both in the world and in the people she encounters.
Anne assumes the world—and the people in it—will rise up to meet her on that level.
People definitely don’t get her—but this is not a problem to Anne. Or at least, it’s really not her problem.
She knows that they don’t misunderstand her out of malice, but because they cannot see what she sees.
This archetype teaches us what it is to live in two realities:
the reality of the world we're seeing and experiencing, and the stories that this world is telling us about what's possible, what's true, what we're capable of—all of that.
and the reality we know is coming. The reality we know is possible. The dream world that we see transposed over the world around us at all times.
And we know that when people don't understand, it's not personal. It's not an attack. Even though they might sometimes attack us, their misunderstanding comes from a fundamental inability to what you're seeing—for now, anyway.
When we get tired of the story that “no one understands us”: that's when we can really soften into our truest, deepest selves, make the impossible possible, and conjure a new reality from the imaginal realm.
I invite you to think about ways you can be who you came here to be.
To notice where you’ve built up armour and protections around yourself to keep people from seeing you, to prevent people from misunderstanding you.
Start to play with ways you might soften that armour.
Be more open hearted.
Let people misunderstand you—it's not personal.
It's not even about you. It's about them. Their perception of you isn’t for you to manage.
Be who you came here to be.
